Ok, so its been a couple of months since my return, (I never left for the record, -life- happened instead), life has a habit of doing that from time to time. Anyhooo, I just wanted to sayyy...
The site is looking AMAZEBALLS! It has evolved beautifully! Didn't take me longer than half hour to figure it all out, its super user friendly, (although the gold ledger/gold transactions could do with being more visible/better tabbed). But that's small fry which doesn't count for this particular post.
The new features and add-on's are epic!. Not only has it made it easier for -everyone- to gain achievements in a very short space of time, (unlike it was for a few of us back in the day), but there are various ways and means of gaining free gold, potions and runes to give everyone equal opportunity.
The Inventory/Rune idea, is pure GENIUS! I absolutely love the design and concept of it all. It works so well, and again gives everyone equal opportunity. So that every member can afford to earn and upgrade their chosen equipment and alike. It has to be my favourite feature so far!
Then there is the Live Quests, Live Chat and Live activity menu, which has had huge impact (for me) this idea was double GENIUS! Makes everything so accessible and easy to monitor! I just love love loveeee this feature =D
The way we can access our private mail on ANY page by using the drop-down tab/menu on the main player bar, is FABULOUS! Its soooo much faster/easier than having to tab back or forward to the profile page and coming away from a game =D
Some of us had to have 2-3 pages open so that we didn't have to tab backwards and forwards, waiting for pages to load, while still being able to pause/keep track of a game at the same time. GONE ARE THOSE DAYS" Hip-Hip Hooray!! Huzzah!! Huzzah!! =D *claps enthusiastically like a demented seal*
The new look Lay-Out/Colours/Main-Page Back Ground, are aesthetically rewarding too, especially the -Colour Choices- and Galaxy style Main Page. For me personally, the colours are gentle and relaxing. Its so well thought out with great attention to detail. Nothing worse than awful eye-bleaching bright colours that give you instant headache. Not that we ever had that problem before, as the player bar light-switch dealt with that issue. But the new look/appearance IS 100% better than its ever been! And there has been quite a few changes over the years!
Every single new idea, detail, feature and add-on, is above and beyond anything I'd of hoped for. I feel extremely proud and privileged to play here at PIOTW.
So, from me to you, I wanted to say a huge "THANK YOU HAPLO" =D Thank You for dedicating your time, to create this idyllic, beautifully designed, and AWESOME gaming platform! I appreciate all of your hard-work and effort, more than pistachio ice-cream, coconut fluff, and walnuts =]

Yeah I agree this new feature is better than before. Unlike before it's hard to earn XP and gold and take long to earn it. But now I could earn XP and gold faster than before on this site and I could buy it from the gold shop easily. Also I would rather keep it that way. But thank you for this site Haplo. Hope you are here Haplo. |

As a newbie here I'm astonished to read many old threads from months/years ago vigourously complaining about all sorts of glitches and navigation problems on the site. I've nothing but huge awe for the cleanliness, precision, and simplicity of PIOTW as it is now, today. I guess all that angst back then was part of the "creation" process, and *I* have been incredibly lucky to happen to wander in right AFTER all that, to see only the completed product - as close to perfection as I've ever seen in any games site.
I'm glad to see you use the word "genius", toast. I think it's completely justified - I'm amazed every day at the wondrous creativity that's been channelled into this creation, in which I'm now privileged to partake.
