Posted - 09/13/2012 : 00:59:21 For those of you, who've joined a while back/and or, those who spend an incredible ammount of time gaming here in general, this information wont be of much use to you. (That's to say, you will already know).
But for those who have recently joined, or have limited time, this information will perhaps give a broader understanding of particular games and the traits.
Certain members can spend hours and hours, mastering a game. During that time, they pick up the game 'patterns' and 'traits'. Once they've learn't these things, they have the 'key' to obtaining great scores.
However, there are also certain games that have natural 'flaws' & 'programming errors'. And often they are reported via the "Help/Bugs" section of the forum. Many times i have reported these games, epsecially when they appear for weekly and daily tournaments, challenges etc. They are either fixed, or removed altogether.
Luckilly for us, the majority of games provided by PIOTW, are mostly sound. Only occassionally there may be the odd one that needs investigating.
In saying all this, its true to say that there are a few members who DO use various methods of cheating. As with any type of online gaming entertainment, there will always be those few that struggle to obtain highscores, without using cheating methods. Its part and parcel of nature of the beast.
Should you notice anything suspicious about a memebers habits/scores etc, you can report them directly to the Owner Haplo, giving your findings/explanations as to what you've seen.
Alongside, there will always be certain games that members are just super brilliant with, because they've spent so many years playing and mastering them.
When you notice a game that requires reverse scoring, or an obvious default/flaw, please report it via the "Help/Bugs" section on the forum. It can then be investigated further, and or removed.
One last note for this subject. It's sometimes good to approach a player, and 'Ask' them if there is any advice or tips they can give, regarding a particular game you may have trouble scoring on. More often than not people will respond.
Although, they dont have to give away any of their secrets, they can sometimes guide you with better instruction and stratedgy, giving you the tools to master the game on your own.
Beyond everything else, its all about enjoying yourself, having fun and exploring your abilities =]
Just remember, the more you play, the more you learn about a game's traits and quirks ;]
